Recruitment Tips
Be the best at your job
Work on being the best at what you do on the field. Get bigger, faster and stronger than everyone you're competing against. Eat, sleep and breathe your craft and seek out trainers and coaches to make you better.
Get the Grades
You can be the best athlete on the field but if you don't have the grades to back it up, coaches will look elsewhere for the complete package. Opportunities abound with a GPA over 3.0 and increase in range and scope with high ACT/SAT test scores. There is a ton of unused scholarship money for high academics at every level.
Sell Yourself
You need to have all eyes on you and still a bit of luck to get college coaches to stop by the central coast and offer you an opportunity. Go to realistic camps, build a detailed twitter profile, email coaches regularly and pay attention to your recruiting timeline before its too late.
